The Setting of a Story via an Image

Guess the Story!

Lightning streaked across the sky in jagged lines, tearing through the dark clouds. The crumbling Castle Urwick still stood after 500 years. Many a bloody battle was fought there, and they say that the restless damned haunt the walls, hungry for release. Foliage is almost non-existent, save the rotting trees. Whether that place is still inhabited, no one knows. Every once in a while a fool hardy adventurer raids the damned place, and the villagers shake their head. One less adventurer in the world.

{Since everyone pretty much said the same thing...EVERYONE IS A WINNER}

I can derive from the picture that you are probably going to write about an adventure in a haunted house which includes horror plots. Just what I can think of when I see the picture you have posted. Hope I am right!

I feel that your story would be about going into the forest on an adventure. Stumbling on an old mansion, you took a peek inside. Once inside, the door slammed behind you and you found yourself alone in a huge dark mansion with no lights but the lights from the full moon that night.

Your story would probably be an adventurous sort and there might be some "scary" parts. I can see as the trees are wicked and gnarled and the cobblestoned road looks rather windy and the house looks forbidding and mysterious.

Your story would probably be something maybe an accident that leaves you there or maybe a challenge to go in while the others stay somewhere else ?
